Kathy King, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Calabasas office, is pleased to welcome Alyson Silverman to her team of sales professionals. “Alyson’s professional experience in real estate and educational background is a substantial benefit to her clients,” said King. “Her passion for real estate and belief in the value of client satisfaction makes her an excellent fit for the culture in our office.”
Over the course of her real estate career Silverman has consistently been awarded for her sales production. She credits her success to her focus on continuous improvement, negotiating skills and commitment to provide her buyers and sellers with the information and tools they need to make sound decisions.
To match her services to the needs of her clients, Silverman has continually worked to further her education. She completed an advanced series of coursework to earn the following designations: Certified Distressed Property Expert, Accredited Staging Professional, Accredited Real Estate Owned, REO Default Certified Professional, and Certified HAFA Specialist, which allows her to provide her clients with valuable guidance about the Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program.
Before she entered the real estate business, Silverman leveraged the knowledge she acquired from earning her degree in Business Administration and Marketing to work for Amgen in Newbury Park. When asked about why she chose to pursue a career in real estate, she commented, “A friend of mine saw a spark in my eye whenever he mentioned real estate and encouraged me to get my license. Real estate is truly my passion. I love helping people build wealth, avoid foreclosure or simply find their piece of the American dream.”
Silverman has lived in Thousand Oaks since 2001. A native of West Los Angeles who went to high school and college in the San Fernando Valley, she has a complex understanding of the residential real estate markets in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Silverman enjoys hiking and participating in a variety of water sports when she isn’t working. She frequently donates her hair to Locks of Love and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, as well as the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
