Prudential California Realty is pleased to announce that Chris Harrison has joined the Marc and Craig Lotzof real estate team at the La Jolla office. Harrison has been a real estate investor since 1990 and a general contractor for the past 16 years.

“Chris is experienced in residential sales and the various implications of purchasing and selling distressed properties,” says Nicki Marcellino, manager of Prudential La Jolla. “His diverse knowledge of real estate will make him one of our industry’s elite agents.”

A Short Sale Specialist, Harrison has assisted clients with interests in both California and Nevada. “The choices that people make during an average transaction can have lasting implications for their future,” says Harrison, “so I constantly research the latest developments in real estate and the national economy in order to share that information with my clients.”

Harrison began purchasing and selling land as a general contractor. He credits the experience for not only giving him a talent for managing the multiple facets of real estate transactions but also an understanding of how to estimate a property’s fair market value.

As a residential sales associate, Harrison has excelled by drawing from his in-depth knowledge of building materials, architecture, design and construction techniques. He added that, “My personal experiences with investing are a benefit to my clients as well, because they allow me to provide my clients with useful advice about how to choose the right option for financing and find homes with the most potential for appreciation.”

Originally from England, Harrison has lived in San Francisco, Hollywood and Las Vegas. He is a former British amateur and world professional pair figure skating champion and was a featured performer for the “Ice Follies” and “Ice Capades,” as well as Scott Hamilton’s “Stars on Ice.”
