Prudential California Realty is pleased to welcome Jason Beckman to the company’s team in the Downtown San Diego office. The owner of a home performance and remodeling firm, Beckman has a complex understanding of sustainable construction practices and efficient building materials.

“Jason’s knowledge of green building techniques and design affords his clients with a substantial benefit,” said Nelson White, manager of Prudential’s Downtown San Diego office. “He has a great work ethic and we are proud to have him represent our office.”

Beckman holds an MBA in Sustainability Management, and has previously worked as an IT professional and energy auditor. Guided by a belief in the value of education, he earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification, as well as the Building Performance Institute’s Building Analyst designation.

“It’s been rewarding to help people retrofit existing structures and utilize construction methods that fit into a sustainable future,” says Beckman, “however the feeling that comes from helping someone with the purchase or sale of a home is especially fulfilling for me.”

A licensed agent for the past two years, Beckman has excelled by drawing from the tenacity and determination that allowed him to earn the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for Communications Systems for Operational Readiness. He also credits the success he has achieved in his real estate career to his focus on continuously advancing his skills, attention to detail and capacity for time management.

Beckman is a volunteer for the San Diego chapter of UNICO, an Italian-American community service organization, and the California Center for Sustainable Energy. In his active life he enjoys playing golf and team sports. Additionally Beckman enjoys finding the latest technologies and home theater equipment.
