Jose Unibe, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Chula Vista Eastlake Village office, announced today that John Paul Salinger has joined his team of real estate professionals. “John’s diverse experience in real estate affords his clients with a significant advantage,” notes Unibe.

A broker associate, Salinger built a solid base of real estate knowledge from spending five years building condominiums in West Los Angeles. He credits the experience for giving him an in-depth understanding of building materials, construction techniques and property valuation.

Having worked as a licensed loan originator for over 15 years, Salinger provides his clients with valuable guidance about the implications of their financial decisions. “The choices that people face when evaluating their options for financing can not only be complex but also have a range of long-term effects,” Salinger comments. “I’m excited about the chance to help my clients make the best possible decision based on their specific set of circumstances.”

Salinger has been a residential sales associate for the past eight years. Originally from San Francisco, he relocated to Southern California 22 years ago after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from San Francisco State University.

“The sense of fulfillment that comes from helping a client with something as significant as the purchase or sale of a home makes me very happy that I chose to pursue a career in real estate,” Salinger adds. “I really enjoy working directly with the public to help them achieve their goals.”

A professional piano player, Salinger has spent time organizing big band performances in Jack London Square. Over the years he has performed with such high-profile stars as Tony Martin and Myron Floren, among others. Salinger is a member of PETA and several other animal rights groups.
