Prudential California Realty agent Jared Davis is raising awareness and funds for the Global Act of Kindness trip to Kenya. Davis is traveling with a group of volunteers this August to conduct a three day medical clinic, distribute water filtration devices, and provide shoes and educational supplies for orphaned children.
Davis and his team are seeking dentists, doctors, nurses, and medical technicians to join the trip and facilitate a successful operation of the clinic. There is also a need for volunteers to help with managing the flow and admittance of patients, as well as a variety of other tasks.
“Promoting this trip is very important to me,” notes Davis, “because if our fundraising efforts go well from now until our departure we should be able to grant several college scholarships to some of the students.”
Davis has excelled in his real estate career as a result of his focus on continuously advancing his knowledge. He completed an advanced real estate courses to earn the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation and the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation; additionally he holds a bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a minor in Journalism.
From watching his mother, a real estate professional for over 20 years, Davis developed a natural talent for negotiating and marketing, as well as a capacity for assessing the market value of specific properties. He is an active volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club, Cancer Society, Food Bank of San Diego, St. Vincent de Paul and Think Kindness.
