Donna Gauny, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Irvine office, is pleased to welcome Judy Qualls to her team. “Judy is a tremendous asset to our office and to all of the clients she assists,” said Gauny. “Her background as a business owner and passion for helping other people is a unique combination that makes the buying or selling process systematic and enjoyable.”
Before she transitioned into real estate two years ago, Qualls co-founded an accounts payable audit firm that serviced a base of national and international clientele. As president and CEO of the company, supervising a team of 50 people, she excelled as a result of her attention to detail, talent for negotiating and capacity for solving problems.
A Certified Negotiating Expert, Qualls acknowledges that she chose to pursue a career in real estate to work more closely with people and form lasting relationships. “I love having an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the people that I come in contact with every day,” says Qualls, “and I have always had a strong interest in architecture and interior design, so residential sales has been a natural fit for me.”
Over the years Qualls has designed, built and decorated numerous personal residences. “To call the time I have spent working on houses a hobby would definitely be an understatement,” laughs Qualls. She credits the experience for helping her develop a keen understanding of building materials, home staging techniques and property values, as well as an ability to quickly assess the potential of a home for renovation.
Qualls recently moved to the Newport Coast from Tustin Ranch. She joined Prudential to further her professional development and pass on to her clients the benefits of the company’s marketing presence and agent support systems. “Prudential devotes a tremendous amount of resources to honing its agents’ skills and provides a team of experts that are knowledgeable in about every nuance of real estate,” adds Qualls.
Qualls is an avid fan of the Anaheim Ducks, having seen almost every home game since the inception of the franchise. She also enjoys reading, cooking and donating her time to support the Parent Support Organization for Orange County’s High School of the Arts, Working Wardrobes, Talk About Curing Autism, Disabled American Veterans, and the Yosemite Conservancy.
