Karla Stuart of Prudential California Realty is no stranger to community service. As a volunteer for the National Disaster Response Team of the American Red Cross, Stuart was recently asked to deploy to New York to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Stuart, who will be visiting the storm ravaged areas of New York for the next three weeks, previously served in Galveston, Texas, during Hurricane Ike in 2008. She has volunteered her time to serve the Red Cross for the past five years.
“Being able to give is a true responsibility,” Stuart explains. “Since I am lucky enough to be in a position where I can help, I feel it is just the right thing to do.”
Stuart is a residential specialist based in Prudential’s La Jolla office. A graduate of the University of California San Diego, she attributes the success she has achieved in real estate to her market knowledge and client-centered business philosophy.
Having lived in San Diego for the past 20 years, Stuart has a thorough understanding of the region’s neighborhoods, school districts and options for entertainment. Together with her husband and business partner Mark Stuart, she offers professional guidance and valuable insights about multiple aspects of real estate, from starter homes and luxury condominiums to residential income properties and coastal estates.
“The opportunity to work in partnership with my spouse and help our clients achieve their goals makes me happy that I chose a career in real estate,” adds Stuart, who also volunteers for Prudential’s Charitable Foundation.
