Marilyn Simon, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Pasadena office, is pleased to welcome Patricia Gonzalez to her team. “Patty is an experienced professional with a complex knowledge of how to manage rental and investment properties,” explains Simon. “Her passion for the real estate industry and talent for negotiating have given her an impeccable reputation in our community.”

Gonzalez credits the teachings of her family for giving her a belief in the value of real estate as an investment, as well as an ability to quickly evaluate a home’s physical condition and market value. Some of her fondest memories from her childhood include touring potential investment and rental properties with her father.

“Real estate has always been a family tradition,” says Gonzalez. “There’s nothing that compares to it in terms of a strategy for creating long-term financial stability. My father passed away when I was 15 but he left us with five rental properties. The implications of what he did for us have been incredible. Mom was able to raise all four of us and send us all to college based on the income from his investments.”

A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Gonzalez has a background in contract negotiations for the healthcare industry that spans more than 20 years. She began her career in real estate marketing and sales 11 years ago, to help people achieve the goal of home ownership, realize the maximum possible return on their investments and chart a path for generating wealth.

“I love working directly with people in sales,” says Gonzalez, “and I love utilizing my negotiating skills to help them receive an optimal result for their transactions.”

Gonzalez was raised in Glendale and is fluent in Spanish. She has three sons and enjoys volunteering her time at their schools. A member of the Pasadena Pacers, Gonzalez has run two marathons and many half marathons with Team in Training, the fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
