Agents and staff from Prudential California Realty recently came together in support of Holiday House, a project created by the San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR). Nearly $10,000 in donations and funds were raised to benefit local charities as a result of the event, which culminated in a celebration party at an oceanfront estate in La Jolla.

During the party, San Diego City Council member Carl DeMaio presented SDAR with a signed proclamation by the City Council, officially making December 6th “Holiday House Day.” The celebration also featured appetizers and beverages from sponsoring restaurants and shops, as well as appearances by the San Diego Charger Girls, California Assembly member Brian Jones and several former NFL players.

A number of Prudential’s 24 offices in San Diego County served as drop-off locations for toys during the project, which benefited the following charities: Adopt-A-Classroom, Becky’s House, Homefront San Diego, It’s All About the Kids, Marine Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army, San Diego Armed Services YMCA, San Diego Center for Children, San Diego Food Bank, Second Chance, and Senior Community Centers.
