Prudential California Realty is pleased to announce that Jessica Mefford has rejoined the company to work in the Beverly Hills office. “Jessica’s creativity and attention to detail allow her to provide her clients with successful closings and a superior standard of service,” said Nick Cacarnakis, manager of the office.
A resident of Southern California for the past 13 years, Mefford brings a diverse knowledge of real estate and an in-depth understanding of the Los Angeles housing market to every client she assists. With a mother who worked in the interior design field, she developed an appreciation for architecture and design at a young age.
Mefford credits the teachings of her mother and her previous experience in real estate for giving her an ability to quickly assess the market value of specific properties, and a talent for maximizing the aesthetic appeal of a home. Formerly a teacher of the real estate exam, she is known for her communication skills and focus on providing her clients with useful information about every aspect of their transactions.
“I’ve always had a love for homes and an affinity for working with people,” says Mefford, “so real estate is a natural fit for me.”
Though she enjoyed drafting in high school and gave serious thought to attending California Polytechnic State University for architecture, Mefford earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Pepperdine University. She leveraged this knowledge to work in human resources in the entertainment industry for over nine years, where she helped to staff the biggest television network launch in history.
Now that she is back in real estate, Mefford is excited about the chance to apply her skills and experience for the benefit of her clients. She added that, “It’s very gratifying to help a buyer realize their dream of owning a home, or to help a seller get the maximum possible return on their investment.”
Mefford loves traveling, snowboarding and stand up paddle boarding. She enjoys trying new restaurants and supporting a variety of nonprofits, including Much Love Animal Rescue and Chrysalis, which facilitates employment opportunities for homeless and low-income individuals.
