Prudential’s Debbie Giometti Heads up Drive for US Sailors in Need

Debbie Giometti of Prudential California Realty is coordinating a drive to benefit US sailors and their families, from now until November 11, 2012. Donations ranging from toys and gently used articles of clothing, to gift cards for local grocery stores and retail centers are being accepted at Prudential’s offices in Coronado, at 101 Orange Avenue and 955 Orange Avenue, every day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

“My husband is a retired US Navy SEAL and he recently alerted me to the fact that some of our junior sailors earn less than $19 thousand a year,” said Giometti. “This obviously makes it very difficult to care for a spouse or serve the needs of a growing family here in San Diego. Plus I don’t think that many people realize our sailors also augment our forces on the ground, often for a year at a time, and typically wearing over 70 pounds of gear.”

Giometti serves buyers and sellers of real estate from her base of operations at Prudential’s Coronado Village office. A former sales and marketing manager for what is now Embassy Suites, she excelled as a result of her talent for developing positive solutions, attention to detail and focus on providing prompt, information-rich communications.

“Debbie’s commitment to community service and high standards of personal integrity make me proud to have her on our team,” stated Joe Campagna, manager of Prudential’s Coronado offices.

“I love the idea that my efforts will make a positive impact on a young sailor who is defending our freedom every day and night,” added Giometti. “The sense of fulfillment that comes from helping other people is the same reason I decided to become a Realtor.”
